It’s quite hard to convey, the feelings one has, when their little one grows up.

One year ago today, I was at my first reptile show, looking for a new child to enter my life,

And then, I saw her

A beautiful little Bumblebee girl, small and perfect, an absolute blossom.

I don’t exactly know how she caught my eye, but when I see a new child, I just know.

I struggled with a name, however.

I was going for a Japanese or Chinese name, and “Akane” had a good ring to it, but it didn’t really fit

And then I was like, heck it, Her name is Lily Dragon

I feel like there’s always something special about your second snake. It really cements the fact you’re in love with these animals, and you really want to delve even more into their world.

Pua and Lily Dragon will always hold a special in my heart, and they’ve both really changed who I am and what I want to do in life, and in art.

And it’s so hard to realize that my little girl, isn’t my little girl anymore! She’s all grown up, and she’s definitely got more growing to do! But she will always be the small little noodle I picked up in Des Moines on November 5th, 2017

Happy 1 year Anniversary Lily Dragon! I love you, ya little nugget!

So Inessa here has always been claimed to be a Butter Super Pastel but recently I’ve been having some question on if that’s just it. So Inessa is about a year and 3 months old give or take, and in the recent past I noticed shes been turning very yellow, not a trait I see in any other Butter Super Pastels. Her nose is now what’s catching my eye. It’s always been that light tan colour and now is taking on yellow tones. After looking into some pictures, I’m almost wondering if shes Butter Super Pastel FIRE? The issue is it doesnt say her parents had any other genes so I really cant tell. I put her earliest picture of her known with all her siblings to show what colour she was and her parents info.
